Lisa Dorner, Ph.D.

Lisa M. Dorner, Ph.D., is a Professor in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis. Her work for the Cambio Center started in 2010 when she became a Cambio Fellow after discovering her favorite academic conference, the annual Cambio de Colores. Her research interests are around bilingual education, educational policy enactment, and immigrant childhoods.

Juan José Reyes Valladares

JJ is a doctoral student in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis. With over 15 years of experience teaching K-20, his research interest is on college access for first-generation and low-income students, particularly those transferring from community colleges to four-year universities.

Jada Mulholland
Student Assistant, Cambio Center
Jada is from St. Louis, Missouri and is studying Political Science with a minor in Black Studies. At the Cambio Center, she is excited to continue contributing to the center’s mission through managing and enhancing its social media presence.

Marena Nuñez Cruz
Student Researcher, Cambio Center
Marena is pursuing a degree in Middle School Social Studies education with a minor in Hospitality Management. She looks forward to collaborating and working with new people at the Cambio Center.
