About Our Research

Groundbreaking, Community-Centered Studies

The Cambio Center and our Fellows lead groundbreaking research across several disciplines. We ask important questions about immigrant integration, immigration policies, and the push and pull factors connected to migration, especially around the Midwest. We also study Latine, immigrant, and refugee health, education, and wellbeing — all of which are best understood through our interdisciplinary, community-centered approach.

Cambio Center Fellows pursue disciplinary and interdisciplinary research with each other, within their colleges, and beyond. We share their work — both academic articles and other publications intended for more general audiences — by hosting presentations, webinars, and an e-brief series, all recorded in our Cambio Center Digital Library.
