An(Other) Voices – Other Stories

March 12, 2025

On March 12, at 4:00 pm, Arts & Sciences Building 114, Cambio Fellows Guadalupe Pérez-Anzaldo and Aída Guhlincozzi will lead a panel presentation about Latina social activists’ impact on U.S. history. Their discussion will focus on cross-border women — or ‘atravesadas’ as Gloria Anzaldua has called them — and how these Latina educators, journalists, and civil rights activists helped to transform many lives, especially those who are typically rendered invisible by historical accounts.

This talk is graciously sponsored by the School of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures, the Interdisciplinary Migration Studies Institute, and the Cambio Center.
