On behalf of the Cambio Center, we want to thank everyone involved in the 2026 Cambio de Colores Conference: “En Comunidad We Rise”, held June 3–5 in Columbia, Missouri.
Did you know that during the three days of the conference, we:
- Interacted with nearly 100 registrants
- Enjoyed 5 amazing keynote speakers
- Learned from 75 presenters focused on: civil rights & political participation, education & youth development, health, and community & economic development
- Made it happen with 37 volunteers and organizers
- Provided scholarships to 30 students and community leaders
- Visited 3 immigrant-serving agencies and programs in Columbia: City of Refuge, The Food Bank Market, and CoMo Cooks Shared Kitchen
- Depended on more than 20 organizational partners
- And collected 60 pounds of food and $80 to help The Food Bank to deliver 290 meals for Mid-Missourians experiencing food insecurity!
This is amazing! And it was thanks to your fantastic engagement. Thank you to all the organizers and participants for your time, expertise, and passion. We hope you found the conference both energizing and worthwhile. We look forward to staying connected and hope to see you at Cambio de Colores 2027, hosted in Kansas City, Missouri, June 2027!
