From June 5-7, the Cambio Center hosted our 22nd annual Cambio de Colores-Change of Colors conference. Highlights included four amazing keynotes, where expert speakers focused on (1) civil rights and political participation by Migrantes Unidos; (2) health (and education) by Monserrat Garibay; (3) community and economic development by Dr. Amalia Daché; and (4) education and youth development by Dr. Trish Morita-Mullaney. We were also super excited to welcome special guests, Mayor Q (read here) and the KC Latin Jazz Orchestra, as well as host a site visit tour to three amazing organizations: (1) Guadalupe Centers; (2) El Centro; and (3) the Latinx Education Collaborative.
