    • What? Book Discussion – Solito – Solito by Javier Zamora is the story of his migration from El Salvador to the United States at the age of nine. He examines the dangers, challenges, and emotional toll of his journey, providing personal perspective on the immigrant experience.

The Latino Medical Student Association at MU (LMSA), in collaboration with MU Healthcare Office of Belonging and Community Impact and Bienvenidos Employee Resources Group, are co-sponsoring Dr. Bran from the Infectious Diseases Department to discuss his journey in medicine and what it means to be Hispanic/Latino in the healthcare field. There will be coffee and other traditional Hispanic/Latino appetizers and beverages at this event.
