Missouri Humanities Council Grant Expands Cambio de Colores Conference

March 31, 2025 $25,000 grant supports the addition of conference’s first-ever storytelling festival.   The Missouri Humanities Council (MHC) has awarded a grant of $25,000 to the Cambio Center in support of the project titled “Migration and Missouri: Sharing Stories to Connect to Each Other and Our Ever-Changing Communities.” The MHC is the only statewide agency in Missouri devoted exclusively to humanities education for citizens of all ages. This talk is graciously sponsored by the School of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures, the Interdisciplinary…

Local governments and politics matter. Thank you for your continued strength, resilience, and partnerships.   Many of us do our work in Missouri or nearby. As of 2022, 4.1% of Missouri’s population was classified as foreign-born, and many more are the children of immigrants. Cambio’s research has shown how newcomers contribute their assets, culture, ideas, and love to create thriving communities. And various organizations and projects work alongside them. You can support this by:  Please…
